Welcome to the Thames Valley History Festival 2017.
We have a stellar line-up of speakers and topics. As always, we are offering tickets on a 3 for 2 basis, but please note that while Alison Weir, Juliet Barker, and Undressing Henry tickets are part of the 3 for 2 offer, they CANNOT be your free ticket.
Also, the 3 for 2 discount is not applied at your checkout, but by us at fulfilment of the order. NO MONEY comes to us until AFTER fulfilment. Tickets are dispatched by email, and are in the name of the person placing the order. There are no shipping charges so if that does come up, these will be zeroed at fulfilment.
Any problems, contact us and we will respond as soon as we are able. It is our aim to respond the same day, but as everyone at TVHF is a volunteer, sometimes you may have to wait 24 hours to hear from us.
The TVHF is an annual festival uniquely dedicated to British history, and as the British Empire stretched across the globe, that gives us plenty of scope. We encompass a wide variety of historical interests, military to family history, local history to biography, and historical fiction. They are all important to us. We are keenly interested in re-enactors and living history and hope in time to include this as part of an education programme with local schools.
We are an unfunded, not-for-profit festival, run by historians and those passionate about our history. We rely on ticket sales, occasional grants, and the generosity of small, local businesses, churches, and others to ensure great venues.Sponsoring an event doesn't always mean huge sums of money, if you are a suitable venue, then it can mean using the venue free of charge. If you enjoy the festival, and and are thinking of sponsoring one of our events, please get in touch. We are open to discussion.
